Protesting dead musician
Sunday, March 30th, 2008

The concert with the band The Friends, commemorating the anniversary of the death of musician Trinh Cong Son took place as planned.
As did the protest. A small but very vocal and passionate group of protesters came to the Don Wash Memorial Auditorium in Garden Grove and picketed, with signs and flags and bullhorns.
Some were nicely asking people not to support the legacy of Tring Cong Son, a man they consider communist. Others were just downright mean and nasty, calling all concertgoers “traitors,” “false Vietnamese,” “communist” and other epithets.
Just another day in Bolsavikland….
Pictured below is the husband and wife celebrity team Cam Van and Khac Trieu, both friends of Trinh Cong Son, who traveled from Vietnam just for this concert.
