Nguoi Viet protester arrested

Trong Doan, 59, one of the three major players in the continuous, day-and-night 24/7 protests against Nguoi Viet Daily News, was arrested at home this morning.

The Bolsavik just got off the phone with Sgt. Jack Davidson of the Westminster Police Department, who confirmed that Trong Doan was picked up this morning at 9:10 a.m. at his house near Little Saigon on a $5,500 warrant for assault and battery. The police declines to release the name of the alleged victim.

    Wow, this is getting serious!

  2. NgocLan says:

“this is getting serious”, I think so.

  3. Le Minh says:

Those moronic Vietnamese want freedom yet they don’t understand what freedom is….

Freedom is not BurgerKing where you can have it your way….

Freedom is about express your opinions while respect others’ eventhough you’re not agreeing to it….

We should deport those moronic protesters back to Vietnam to enjoy their way of freedom…

Le Minh, right on. These crazy protesters harm image of our community through the years. At my wife’s work people ask her a lot about “those crazy protesters” and “thugs” you have in Little Saigon. They used to go with her for lunch in Little Saigon now they refuse. No spending money in our community, no visiting in our community because of the thugs, because their belief system for free press challenged. The Americans don’t bring their families to Little Saigon either. They are disgusted by thugs protesters claim to fight for freedom.

The good people of Little Saigon should speak out against thugs which I am doing here. My wife said, “Everyone thinks Little Saigon is run by Communist Viet Nam with the thugs. Why are they protesting if they truly value freedom?” Her work friends always ask her “how can they afford being out there protesting all the time? Do they have a job?”

My wife and I are ashamed, we tell them these thugs do not represent our community. They are hired by Communists and Vietnamese politicians bringing harm to our community. My wife feels she cannot longer introduce the beauty of our culture and good taste of our food to people at her work. How can she promote Little Saigon with gross protesters like thug Doan Trong?

  5. Tien Huynh says:

Since those immoral protesters are Vietnamese, all other Vietnamese must COLLECTIVELY bear the shame those immoral protesters brought upon the Viet community. The shame now is too much to bear, decent people must break the silence and denounce those immoral behaviors, or we all will be looked down with scorn by the public at large. –Tien Huynh
