UPDATE: I did receive a response from Sal Tinajero. He confirmed that he had not been asked in advance of the printing of the mailer or at the time the photo was taken for permission to use the photo in a mailer. Sal added though; "At the end of the day I didn't mind because he is the only Dem in the field." If anyone hasn't already noticed, Sal is the class act in this situation. Thanks Sal.

Bolsavik,

Great interview. I love how Hoa is not allowed to speak for himself unless under supervision.

I did check with the person who actually took the photo of Hoa and Sal. The photographer stated that Mr. Reynoso “LIED!… he (Sal) was NOT asked if it could be used! Sal was asked by Reynoso “if they could talk about an endorsement,” in the future.

Of course, I’m sure Reynoso will call this “hearsay” as well.

The Bolsavik, I just have a quick question, if you don’t mind: you’ve done some good reporting lately, just as a free service for your blog readers? Are you associated with any news organization now? You went to the interview just as “The Bolsavik”, a freelancer, or a reporter for some news organization? I’m surprised the OCR or LAT hasn’t hired you (that is, if you even want to work for them, hehe).
