In all the brouhaha of the supervisorial candidates accusing each other of being communies (Janet Nguyen has a presser at 2pm today, supposedly revealing Van Tran‘s communist connections), it’s forgotten that there’s one Viet candidate who’s sure to win his race.
That would be Truong Diep, Van’s staffer and member of the Midway City Sanitory District Board, in the race to represent the 68th assembly district on the Republican Party Central Committee.
He’s running for 1 of 6 spots, in a field of 12 including 2 incumbents: Kermit Marsh and Ed Royce Sr.
Bolsavik doesn’t see a scenario where Diep could miss out.
(Talk about Marsh and Diep: The Trannies are helping Marsh with advertising in Vietnamese publications for his judgeship campaign, even though over the years on the Westminster City Council Marsh has been the one giving various Vietnamese-American projects the most opposition. Fair opposition, yes, but oppositiong nonetheless.
So why are the Trannies doing it? Because if Marsh gets on the bench, then his seat opens up and Diep can run for it.)

Instead of assigning a negative and conspiratorial motive to helping Kermit Marsh, perhaps you should also entertain the idea that, as a long time friend and fellow Republican, Kermit Marsh asked for help from the Tran camp and they gave it to him. After all, who’s decision is it for Marsh to run for judge other than his and his family?

Yup, they also helped Bruce Broadwater over the other Viet candidate (Nguyen Tan Lac) for GG City council, and they helped Bob Harden over the other Viet candidate (John…) for GGUSD. And they didn’t support other Viet candidates Kim Oanh Nugyen-Lam or Paul Tuong Thang.
Why is this?
Can you argue that any of these Viet candidates wouldn’t have been able to do more for our community than other non-Viet candidates who ran against them? Then why did the Trannies support other people?
The answer is, Trannies only support those that benefit their interests politically. They don’t give a $h*! about Viet people. They only use the Vietnamese community to further their own careers/agenda.
Fact Checker My Ass is right on. The Trannies have had a history of supporting their individual interests over community interests. Andrew Nguyen, a school custodian and board member for the Westminster School District, is a devout Trannie who ran on a slate that oppposed the nomination of Kimoanh Nguyen-Lam as Westminster Superindentent. As a board member, all he has done is support the Tran clan including Trung’s ill fated attempt at supervisor and now he supports Dina’s try. It is quite sad because Mr. Nguyen is a registered Democrat and was endorsed by the party.
I agree that Kermit Marsh has done virtually nothing for the community and your analysis rings true in that the real motive for Trannie support is to get him off the city council so that they can place another one of their own-perhaps Andrew Nguyen?

Van Tran and his camp wouldn’t lend a helping hand to any Viet or Non Viet unless he’s certain that they will become his loyal followers and will later pay their dues… the group that’s attacking Janet on radio every night now are the very same group that ran the first ad in the Nguoi Viet newspaper accusing Janet of being a commie and they are the very same people that put Tri Ta up to run for council with the help of Van Tran so NOW, it’s pay back time!!! That’s how it works!!!
I am sure some of you know the planning commissioner of WTM? Many of us know her as the girlfriend of the Navy Seal Wannabe, when rumors got around that she might run for office, they were getting ready to go on the attack if she doesn’t play with the Trannies. Talk about backstabbing friends. Many believed that she help saved Andy’s political career and she also gave lots of money to Van Tran and his boys yet they were so ready to take her out to avoid a potential take over in the future… at least that what ME think!!! She’s got potential boys!!!
I am fed up with back-and-forth accusations between Janet Nguyen and Van Tran and his followers as being VC . In my opinion , none of them is wanted to be members of the VCP , because VCP has more members than they need already ! I never voted for any of those guys and I am no fan of any of them , too . They have been too noisy !!!!!
Why do you pilot a helicopter from the right hand seat, while in a plane it is from the left hand seat? In the early days of rotorcraft development, the machines that flew then did indeed have a distinct difference in altitude between the left and right sides. The left side of the aircraft, at a hover, was considerably lower than the right side. Therefore it was determined that the right side should be the pilot’s seat. If the rotor system turned in the oposite direction the effect would be reversed.
