Dina, Janet and Hoa put up a fierce and rigorous campaign. Although, like many campaign race, the mudslingings got dirty and even below the belt at times, Dina, Janet and Hoa all deserve “praises” for their endeavor and hard work. None more or less or than others.

In the Vietnamese community’s textbook, they (we) are all winners because, in the end, we have a Vietnamese-American who is elected as Supervisor to represent the community. I think the politics (straight or dirty) that took place during the campaign had embedded into some of those whom blog on this website that they now take it personal. By going on this blog, Redcounty, theLiberalOC and other blogs, and calling each other names and making defamatory remarks, only show that these individuals are immature and infantile when it comes to politics.

A campaign race is analogous to a contest of a sport game or any competition because there will always be winners and losers. At the end of these games, the players, most, if not all, congratulate the winning team and shake their hands, or even hug them. This is how the Dina, Janet and Hoa camps should treat each other. The idea is not to take the race too personal that it becomes a personal vendetta, which is ostensible of what is going on right now.

I direct these words at those, Vietnamese, that come on this blog and related ones just to “bad-mouth” others, and make the Vietnamese community seems like an uneducated, immature and uncivilized bunch of people. We are better people than that and should act like so, because, if we don’t, we can only disgrace ourselves and our people.

Janet family’s old habit of spreading false rumors can only back fire and this will create more division and friction in our community.

Dina has never said anything about this election result and I would highly recommend cranky/itch lips to be put under control.

I think many in the Viet community are absolutely thrill that other ethnic communities are beginning to see the true color of the trannies and his followers. Dina has learned from her boss to keep scores already, she’s proven to us she’s no real politician and she’s ready to keep this bickering going. She will never learn to loose graciously. Her comments to friends and supporters only goes to show that she’s a bitter and sore looser. As one of her early supporters, I am glad that I’ve made the right choice in NOT supporting her after I’ve realized how personal she’s taking all this. To say that her background is SHADY is putting it very mildly. I AM GLAD THAT THE COMMUNITY CAME TOGETHER AND SHOW VAN TRAN THAT HE’S CAN NO LONGER FOOL US.
