Would you wear undies that tell your partner “You need a ticket to ride this ride” — and by ticket, the undie means “condom”?
That’s exactly what Tina Nguyen, a graduating high school senior from Pomona, California thought you’d want.
Or at least that you’d want if you care about safe sex and STD prevention.
On that idea, Tina won the Grand Prize in a competition entitled “InBrief: What if Ur Undies Had the Last Word” (feel free to groan at the pun) hosted by Brickfish, a social web site and Internet Sexuality Information Services, Inc. (ISIS) a nonprofit organization promoting sexual health.
The competition attracted over 500 amateur designers from around the country “fashioning original branded underwear online– complete with artwork and slogans– to emphasize ‘safer sex’
messages and the importance of supporting communication between partners,” says the press release here.
Tina’s design has two sets, one female and one male (pictured; click to enlarge). The female brief says “You need a ticket to ride this ride.” The male boxer says “I got my ticket” in front and “Now can I hop on?” in the back.
For winning the Grand Prize, Tina gets $1,000 plus 12 sets of underwear in her design.
Query: Will her parents confiscate the male version?
How can I get a pair of this?
Pick them up from Janet’s hubby, the playful Tommy ………….he has truck load of young girl’s undies!
It’s a good thing to see that Ms. Dina Nguyen decided to practice safe sex. Our tax money will have better use on something else than to take care of her children.
US citizen, you have not passed your citizenship test and I think you are still a Uncle Mao’s child!
Do not worry about other people because they will pick you up tonight to give you a free mug shot……….with Tommy wearing your undies!
I always have those tickets with me. Can I hop on now?
So creative. How lovely they are.
Very good post. Thanks for this.
