This is ridiculous. It was in a public place. You are allowed to take pictures in a public place. HELLO RELIGIOUS RITE! Oh NOs, a woman’s BREAST! Oh my GOd, the POOR CHILDREN!

The general rule is that if anything can be seen from a public spot, then you can take photos of it. That’s the law, and is the rule-of-thumb that journalists (including that special breed called the paparazzi) work by.

But the difference here is that all nude beaches have rules against unauthorized photos. Some allow you to take a picture of yourself with nobody else in the background. Some just ban cameras outright.
