Ky Ngo collects art

It may be because perennial protestor Ky Ngo is sitting outdoor all day watching people going in and out of Nguoi Viet Daily News, but he sure has come up with a lot of fun ideas.

The paraphernalia that he’s putting up outside the newspaper’s office now includes the oil painting above. It’s huge, maybe about 3 feet tall and 5 feet wide, and it depicts Ngo’s car (yellow with three red stripes) and Ngo himself on the left, wearing a flag-themed jacket.

The painting as a whole is a assortment of protesting bric-a-brac. Slogans abound. That conical hat on the left says “Down with Nguoi Viet.” The sign near the back tire of the truck paraphrases a statement of the late President Nguyen Van Thieu on communists and says, “Don’t believe what Nguoi Viet says but watch what Nguoi Viet does.” On the right are four communist helmets labeled with the names of Nguoi Viet officials, current and former. The big sign on the right says “Nguoi Viet is not media.”

What the Bolsavik doesn’t get is the stuff in the lower middle part of the painting, next to the helmets. What are those two containers with copies of the Nguoi Viet newspaper in them? At first sight, the containers look like those brass things that Vietnamese put joss sticks and put on the altar, but that makes no sense to have the Nguoi Viet papers in them.

Anyway, the Bolsavik has long given up on fathoming the depths of Ky Ngo’s mind.

the containers might be a bad/crude version of a toilet i mean it is square in the back and round in the front and he does have to poop so maybe thats what the newspaper is for. but who knows what kind of stuff goes through the mind of a filthy communist pig like ky ngo. but what gets me is that stupid jacket he wears with the american flag on half of it! that really is so disrespectful to our flag! far worse that any yellow foot spa! hopefully somebody will spray paint that obvious work of communist so called art with the toilet bowl in the middle. how embarrasing.

I think Nguoi Viet Daily News should buy the artwork and display it in the lobby to show everybody how much the company appreciates different views. To be a subject of an artwork lends credibility to the company’s opinion.

  3. Country First says:

When will Ky Ngo realize that he doing more damage than good to the cause of freedom, by using Nazis’ gestapo tactics of intimidation ?

  4. jose s. says:

lil saigon man, by buying the painting and displaying it in the lobby will lend credibility to the company?! are you insane?! you mean they should reward communist thugs for being communist thugs? get real.

Now we know that the clown Ky Ngo give away “non coi”. No thanx, Ky! You can keep them to yourself.

  6. Li'l Saigon Man says:

Jose S, that is a great painting. Don’t throw it out as refuse! It is part of the history of Nguoi Viet Daily News. After all the clowns go away, who will do this sort of nonsense in the future? The younger generation has no reason to pull such stunts. Priceless, all the way.

  7. AnhHai says:

Note the date on the painting. It could have been submitted for the Vaala exhibit!

  8. jose s. says:

it should be defaced and then burned.

  9. Li'l Saigon Man says:

The US invited the world famous painter Diego Rivera to paint their public and private buildings, and he was a known communist back in the day. Art transcends politics, so this piece deserves to be in the lobby of Nguoi Viet Daily News, the owner(s) choose to purchase it. I humbly think that it is very appropriate!

  10. Boycot says:

Ky Ngo should move his protest to his local Vietnamese banks who are acting as front for communist money laundering.

Ky Ngo should move his protest to local Vietnamese real estate and mortgage companies who are acting as front for communist officials from Vietnam.

Ngo Dinh Diem and Nguyen Van Thieu were dictators. They are in HELL with other dictators.

  13. questioner says:

How come the lunatic sore loser no money Ky Ngo has any money to commission any artist to paint for him? Is there any chance that the Vietnamese commies uses Ky Ngo to pay for the painting? Anyone knows who is the artist making such a messy propaganda painting? Or did Ky Ngo made the painting himself?
