Guess why SWAT went against this Viet

If you’re going to cause a five-hour standoff with police, do it for a reason other than this Oklahoma City Viet’s.

Police responding to emergency calls found Tuyen Ngoc Vo, 50 (pictured), barricading himself in his apartment with furniture propped up against the door. From inside the unit, he was throwing stuff out.

The police called in the SWAT team, and the whole situation ended after five hours when SWAT “forced entry and subdued the man,” reports NewsOK.com here.

And the reason? Vo was running around with a golf club, beat up, and killed a neighbor’s cat.

It is unclear what the cat did to deserve such a fate, but NewsOK says here that the cat’s body was found in the courtyard of the complex.

Vo lives in Legacy Crossing, a fancy gated complex that reportedly requires “a ‘pretty thorough’ background check.”

The whole thing started at around 8pm, when a caller to 911 told the dispatcher that a man “was throwing furniture from his first-floor apartment and that he had a stick and was banging it loudly, breaking glass and screaming.”

A second call came from a Spanish speaker who said, “This guy here is crazy; he’s been trying to kill a cat for a long time. And he’s been trying to do that still now. He’s crazy. I don’t know.”

Vo is facing charges of animal cruelty. Apparently no other charges are filed as to the standoff itself.

Hoho, another soul damaged by the war, I guess. Who said the war was over more than 30 years ago? As long as we have psychos like this man or Bui Kim Thanh running around foaming at the mouth, the US are still paying a dear price for it!
