Surfed over to TheLiberalOC.com today and found that Chris Prevatt has posted (here) the audio of 9-1-1 calls and the police dispatches relating to Westminster City Councilman Andy Quach‘s drunk driving crash on August 1 that severed a power pole and cut off power to 300 people. (Then he plowed into the concrete wall, shown in photo.)
So the Bolsavik called the Westminster PD and Sgt. Dan Schoonmacher confirmed the audio is authentic.
Part of the audio has the call coming in from the driver whose car Quach had hit.
Contrary to earlier reports, when he called 9-1-1 the driver said he’d been hit pretty hard and thought he’d been injured.
The Bolsavik also called Assemblyman Van Tran, who brushed off the post. Said he, “They’re 9-1-1 calls. They are what they are.”
Prevatt is, of course, politically on the other side of the Van Tran gang. In fact, back in 2000 Prevatt ran for Garden Grove City Council and his opponent was Tran.
Being a food server, I don’t have the opportunity to attend school like our fine Assemblyman. Does anybody know if injuries are involved, then this incident would be escalated to felony DUI?
BTW, I don’t see how the posting of the 911 has anything to do with the news being present. If anything, the proof will either substantiate or disprove the claim being made.
The question again is, did VT talked to paramedics and/or the other party and asked them not to claim injury so the DUI charges to AQ remain misdemeanors?

You should come to City Council meeting 8/12 at 7 PM at 8200 Westminster Blvd. Don’t be bullied by the Mayor telling you there will not be any personal “attacks” and the moment you mention the accident she will try to tell you that you can’t talk about it. But there is a way you can. You can ask the council to “censure” Quach because of his judgement. That is how this falls under the “purview” of the city council. Spread the word. Don’t let them keep you silent.
The mayor is nice and all until one of her kids ends up in the front of the vehicle driven by a druken driver then the world should stop for her loss? F-ing C—!
AQ’s traffic violations:
GG in 2004: Dismissed. Van Tran, a GG council member, could have asked a police sergeant to sign it off for AQ: Unethical.
Over 100 miles per hour in Seal Beach: AQ or his lawyer Bart could have “persuaded”, perhaps through a council member in Seal Beach, the officer to stay away on court date: Unethical or witness tampering?
Statue of limitation may have expired for 2004 traffic ticket but not on speeding one in 2008. The Office of the AG should investigate.

When I heard the audio, I thought the other driver was referring to AQ when he said he hit pretty hard and that he thought there were injuries. I don’t remember the exact quote and don’t want to listen to it again, but it was something like
He hit really hard, he must be hurt.
I don’t care if the officer showed up in court or not. The picture say a thousand words.
There are testimony from the victims as well as the pole and the masonry wall and 3000 families who lost power that night, it would have enough statement to this reckless, stupid act.
Any covering up would compound the issue and pointing the finger directly to AQ and VT who no doubt think they still live in Viet Nam with the mentality of the elite commie party member mentality.

What VT, AQ, et al are doing is not new to the community. I will speculate and say that they most likely learned it from their white counterparts. The major difference between the greater community and Baby Saigon is that the greater community has more spending money than we do because 1) there are more people in the greater community and 2) Viets usually underpay/mistreat ourselves.
We can not approach this situation with acceptance to the reasoning that if they do it, then it is permissible for us to accept and condone because we will eventually drive ourselves out of business due to the rampant corruption carried out by our own.
We should approach this problem by removing our own corrupt officials and bring in clean candidates, then work with the greater community to drive out the corrupt non-Viet officials. If we look around, we will find worse off communities approaching our standards and soon surpassing us.

- assemblyman Tran Thai Van was with Councilman Andy Quach before the accident, they were seen on at least one restaurant.
- the chronology seemed to show that they were on the road.
- the police is being requested to release the full report for clarity according to the Free Information Act.
It could be proven that the events unfolded in different ways.
