A day after Westminster City Councilman Andy Quach crashed his car into a power pole (see here), cutting off power to 300 homes to the next afternoon, the Westminster Police Department sent out a new press release (click on image for a larger picture) and reveals that “just prior to hitting the electrical pole, Councilman Quach’s vehicle collided with another moving vehicle travelling east on McFadden Ave.”
Fortunately, nobody was hurt. The Westminster PD’s update states, “The vehicle received only minor damage. The three occupants of the vehicle were evaluated at the scene by OCFA paramedics, but required no further medical attention.”
In the vehicle were two young men and one young woman between 21 and 27 years of age, all with Vietnamese names.
The Bolsavik in his other capacity at his other job spoke with Lt. Kevin Baker of the Westminster Police Department today. Lt. Baker said that the result of Councilman Quach’s blood test won’t be known for a long time, “at least 10 days, and that’s at the earliest.”
Meanwhile, Quach is dodging most requests for interview, making only brief statements while referring reporters to statements already made to the Register.

The fact that he had a blood test rather than a much quicker and less invasive breath analysis, in itself, sure hints strongly at guilt.

My fellow constituents, I wold like to take this opportunity to clear my name concerning this accident. I was in sound and body while driving my MB.
However, there was a mechanical malfunction while I was driving. Rather than involve more vehicles, I opted to careen into a light pole to stop the sedan.
I plan to have the city of Westminster air ship the MB sedan to Germany and have the Bavarian techmeisters determine the cause of the mechanical failure. I think that a commie sabotaged my ride.
When I find out, I shall share the news.
I will say this only once. I was at home at the time of the accident stroking myself and received Andie’s late telephone call.
His voice was filled with urgency, so I drove to the scene of the accident to look into the matter. Fortunately, I arrived before the police officers, and I was dressed in my Sunday best, since I like to look good in public, regardless of situation.
I want all to know that the police report is true and accurate, and I was not with Andie along with the male blow up doll in the trunk of the vehicle at the time of the accident.
Determination of Accident: From our field research, the bureau has determined that Andie grabbed and held the gear shifter of his Mercedes Benz and mistakened it for something else.
When he realized it was not what he thought it is, the vehicle had lunged foreward and accelerated towards the electric pole.
I am a bad ass councilman, working for a bad ass assemblyman, and I have bad ass friends and associates. So I got me this bad ass German Panzer that can really haul some bad ass.
If only I could drive bad ass…
