Investigators found bloddy clothing in Amistad Hall, the building where missing Yale graduate student Annie Le, 24, was last seen, report the NY Daily News here and the Yale Daily News here.
Police found the bloody clothes stuffed in the ceiling of the building at 10 Amistad St. in New Haven, which houses the university’s molecular biology labs. Annie Le’s lab is in the building.
Officials evacuated the building Saturday afternoon and declared it a crime scene.
Investigators, however, deny reports that a body was found. The TV station that made the report, Fox 61, deleted the story from its web site.
Earlier, the AP reported here that investigators are poring over the building’s blueprints, and going over security footages frame-by-frame.
They were trying to figure out how Annie Le, who was clearly seen entering the building on Tuesday morning (see the security pix here), disappeared without having left it.
On Friday, the police, intrigued that Annie Le’s professor cancelled his class the same day Le went missing, has questioned the professor. However, the university has emphasized in a Yale Daily News here that the professor is not a suspect.
Annie Le, a doctoral student in pharmacology, was last seen Tuesday, and her purse, cell phone, credit cards and money were found in her office.
The university has offered a $10,000 reward for information about her, and has published both a Yale Police phone number and an FBI Tip line, at (203) 432-4400 and 1-877-503-1950.

Campus Security :
As of this week-end, evidences are pointing to a on-campus “violent” homicide with signs of struggle and assault. The culprit could be a known person to the victim, with full knowledge of the victim’s whereabouts. The culprit was quite familiar with, and skillful in avoiding on-campus security cameras.
FBI is leading the investigation. and Yale University desperately needs a quick resolution of this murder mystery, all national presses are converging on a small campus pursuing for leads.
