The Viet candidate for at-large councilor of Boston is not making it to the general elections in November.
Hiep Q. Nguyen ended 10th in a field of 15, missing the top-8 cut by several thousand votes.
With all precincts counted, Hiep has 7682 votes. Number 9 has 9245 votes and number 8 has 10,108. The top 8 advance to the November elections when voters will pick 4 at-large councilors in addition to the district councilors.
Hiep is the youngest candidate in the mix, barely 27 years old. A CPA with his own practice, this is Hiep’s first foray into politics. He didn’t even do politics as an intern – his internship was at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he later had a permanent job.
Hiep is the President of the Board of the Vietnamese-American Civic Association in Boston. He was born in Tay Ninh in southwest Vietnam and immigrated as an 8-year-old in 1991.
hiep is going about this all the wrong way. what he needs to do is move to orange county and make himself useless and corrupt and he’ll get elected. if he wants to for more votes he can get wasted and smash into power poles just to make sure. seems to work out good for the viet clowns who have held office in oc.
Or….buy a home in Santa Ana and run for Garden Grove City Council.
Or… become a security guard and date Loretta.
Or… lose the council race and become a owner of Orange juice blog.
Or…. pay up county health code violation tickets in full and take over Lee’s Sandwich shop from current GG City Councilman.
