A few days after a Vietnamese-American man was found shot dead in his home in an upscale Bay Area neighborhood, police said they think the crime may be drug related, reports KPIX CBS5 here.
Linh Tu Nguyen, 33, was found dead in his home on Orion Road in San Leandro. Police responding to reports of a shooting found Nguyen “suffering from gunshot wounds.”
Paramedics pronounced Nguyen dead at the scene.
Two days later, police announced that a large amount of marijuana was recovered from the home. They do not think the shooting was random.
Orion Road (pictured below) is located in Marina Vista, a particularly nice part of town, with many spacious homes, most of which were newly built in the 1990s.
A neighbor describes the area to the Contra Costa Times here as “a very quiet neighborhood of mostly Asian-American families, where most parents leave for work in the mornings.”
Nguyen’s killing was the city’s second homicide this year.
Another Vietnamese gets killed, and once again it’s over drugs. Deport all of them and California might be able to recover from the financial crisis were in. They come here and sit on our welfare system and do nothing to help our economy except drain it.

You need to re-read what you said in your original post. bobbie wrote that all Vietnamese should be deported, and you said, and i quote, “We second to that”. Now THAT is being racist. You said nothing about drug dealers. So I don’t understand why you are so surprised that all these ppl are hating on you. The issue that you need to address to everyone is whether you still want Vietnamese to be deported, or if you had meant that all “drug dealers” should be deported.
