BP spills oil, Joseph Cao spills weird words

On the floor of the House of Representatives today, talking about the BP oil spill, the only Vietnamese-American in Congress Joseph Cao said something really strange.

Watch:

Yes, you heard it right, the man just asked another human being to go kill himself.

WTF.

Gives whole new meaning to “spilling his guts”!

  1. Mr. T says:

Japanese use samurai swords. He’s a Viet. WTF.

  2. jose s. says:

wow, can somebody please explain the phenomenon here in america that is the “viet elected official”? i know viets arent stupid but why is it every elected viet official is? either that or corrupt. i mean a few months ago this guy seemed to be a bright hope when he went against his party and voted for the health care bill i mean that took balls and i thought to myself could cao be the first decent viet elected official in america? then he voted against it because he somehow lost his balls and now it seems he lost his mind i mean what a complete idiotic thing to say. joseph cao another useless viet elected official who turns out to be just another idiot. how embarrassing.

  3. Jose s. The Foul Mouth says:

Jose s., why do you like to eat taco and bash on your own? You go on this blog to dirty yourself by attacking your own kind. Do you have any shame?

I think that you are a piece of white trash going on this blog to try to divide the Vietnamese community by attacking it’s leaders. Shame on you Jose s. If you got nothing good to say about anybody, just shut your mouth up. Lots of people would appreciate that.

  4. Little Saigon Resident says:

Good point!!!!! While Vietnamese Americans are graduating at the top of their classes from high school and colleges in the area, move on to do great things in medicine, science, engineering, etc. Vietnamese Americans who go into politics are currupt or just dumb.

Van Tran – cunning, calculated, cold, calm, campy, and currupted.

Janet Nguyen – a legend in her own mind,a Nick Lecong Puppet, she is a suptid scripted supervisor. .

Andy Quach – criminal, uneducated, made money only after being elected.

Dina Nguyen – a flirt, airheaded lawyer. Talks a lot but not much there.

Lan Nguyen – I still can’t understand him when he speaks. Although he’s got a bigger brain then the rest but he’s the epitome of dao duc gia.

Andrew Nguyen – he’s as smart of the average student in the school district he represents.

Tri Ta – blow with the wind.

Truong Diep – quirky, name changing guy who will not go far despite a CA public education. But he’s smarter than Janet, maybe prettier.

Long Pham – lucky guy. Any one with a certain last name can win. Proves voters are ignorant.

Kim Oanh Nguyen Lam – definitel the smartest, most decent and caring Vietnamese Elected but too good to stomach in dirty politics.

  5. Bo May says:

    Foul Mouth Dear;
There is no need for anyone to divide the fragile community. The viet elected officials are doing the deed themselves.
If you don’t believe me, go read anything this ‘all viet all the time’ (your favorite quote) wrote about van tran, then you will understand. LOL

  6. jose s. says:

eat tacos and bash my own? meaning i’m a viet? ive been accused of that before plenty of times on this blog but actually i’m a beaner born and raised here in little saigon before it was even called little saigon so what the viet elected idiots and professional protesters do in my neighborhood is very much my busuness. you dont need me to “devide” your community your community is already devided because so many in the community cant understand the concept of voting for the right person regardless or race. instead theres this ass backwards racist belief that only a viet can represent another viet thats why you have the losers “representing” you and still so many never learn. i really thought cao was the real deal but look at him now. and jung kim, i’m not from lorettas office as a matter of fact i dont care much for her but i will be voting for her not because she’s a latina but because it’s either her or van tran who i know for a fact is a filthy liar and corrupt filth. i’m not an ignorant fuck like you who only votes for people of the same color.

  7. Shawn Mill the Viet Hater says:

Jose s. Oh, I forgot. You are Shawn Mill, just a trailer park resident and a Viet hater. You like to go on this blog to divide the Viets. You’ve been punked. Did you have your Corona this morning yet? Remember to put it in a brown paper bag.

  8. Jung Kim says:

Deport this idiot Shawn Mill from this country.

  9. Bo May = Shawn Mill = Trailer Trash says:

Bo May and Shawn Mill may be of different ethnic race, but they share in the same loser mentality full of self hate and jealousy of others.

Both of these losers hate the Viets because the Viets are overwhelmingly conservative and Republican.

  10. xu says:

Lol, relax it was a joke.

I found it funny but apparently none of the people there were listening or found it funny.

  11. Bo May says:

Jung Kim; Calm down, are you ok man? Don’t want you to bust your vein and die yet.
I want you to be here every day to entertain me with your in-cohesive rants.

  12. thoughtless says:

Joseph Cao is a great congressman with a great record. This political posturing is for his constituents in Louisiana.

There are those who would take this further. We’ve all heard of this kind of inflammatory rhetoric before. Condemnation is usually swift from people who are poorly educated and barely able to speak or write the English language. Of course, it’s easy to be righteous about this. What’s harder is to be right about it. To give you an idea, it’s the same group of people that also lashed out against Arizona’s new immigration law.

“Let he without sin, cast the first stone”… Hypocrites!

  13. ET says:

LOL That Cao is such a weirdo! Like most other Viet politicians, he’s socially clueless and has had little exposure to the rest of the world, although he might think of himself otherwise. Hohoho, weirdo!

  14. Jung Kim says:

ET, Mr. Joseph Cao is US Congressman today and you are just a no name ET from little TJ!

  15. Bo may says:

Cao just voiced his anger toward BP for the shake of his own constituents, as you may know they are viet fishermen whose livelihood is depending much from the seafood wealth off the water of the gulf. I had no problem with the tongue lashing from him attacking the giant oil comp, it is all appropriate in a situation like this. He is not crazy, does not look like so, he may have practiced this phrase in front of the mirror hundred of time and wait for his time to jump in front-and-center of the national attention.

However, having said that, Cao is a Vietnamese, though, Japanese culture is very unique and stands apart from the rest of the Asian culture. It may be OK for a Japanese to cite that harakiri self emulating style but not for a Vietnamese and the rest of the Asian nationals to say so.

  16. Bo May the Ho Bo says:

Oh Bo May, now you are Janpanese lecturing to the Viets? Have you eaten enough sushi and sashimi to know any better? Or you just hate the Viets and likes to criticize them regularly.

  17. Jung Kim says:

Bo May, you are calling everyone ……me!

Hello? Is there anything occupying your soft nut shell?

  18. Jung Kim says:

Bo May, you are no American… you are a Japanese American!

  19. Bo May says:

Asians do not commit harakiri, only Japanese do that.
Citing that suicide ritual practice as part of Asian culture is not accurate.
However, Cao has to do what he has to do, tongue lashing the big oil company who is responsible for his fishermen constituents’ livelihood and well being which is OK in my book.

  20. ET says:

Most Asian right-wing religious weirdos are sexually repressed and self-hating. That’s why they hate their fellow Asian Americans and constantly suck up to their white Republican daddies. The sad thing is traditionally the Republicans’ respect for non-whites is as little as their empathy for the needy in society. May be in a 2 or 3 more generations, the Vietnamese will finally stop being slaves for the Republicans and become part of the greater Asian American political force that has worked for centuries to bring equality to ethnic minorities. Being selfish and close-minded is very shameful.

  21. Bo May says:

Calm down, ‘kimmies’, we are talking about Mr Cao here, not Loretta.

I did say it is OK to lashed out at the BP, didn’t I?
I only have a bit of problem about his mixed-up on ‘harakiri’ as part of Asian culture.

Try to take English Comprehensive Course at your local JC.
It will help you to understand English better.
AND….listen to this: IT will give you a few more English words that would enrich your vocabulary and, hopefully, will change your habit of referring anything in life to ‘whore’, ‘slut’, ‘feces’, ‘van tran’, man and woman body parts, etc. LOL.

  22. Just Asking ! says:

kImmy, without you the world will be a better place! Period!

  23. ET says:

It’s easy to be rich and selfish. It takes more to be rich and caring. I don’t think Bill Clinton and Obama are uneducated or poor just because they care for others. It’s sad that a high percentage of Republicans are trailer trash and tobacco-chewing rednecks stockpiling weapons and screwing their own children.

I don’t know what you’re talking about when you wrote share others’ wealth. We’re talking about the difference between protecting union workers, gay rights, civil rights, unemployment benefits as opposed to selfish, greedy Republicans who just gotta be rich at all prices, including fabricating lies to wage wars as a way to sell off their surplus weapons. That’s what I call immorality, not success.

  24. brian says:

mr. cao is asking the man to do the honorable thing and resign. his expression is abstract and should not be taken literally.

  25. Just Asking ! says:

It’s funny how someone always like to tell other people what to do with their money. May be that someone should go out there work hard earn the money and give them to whoever he or she likes instead of sitting on their arse and expect someone else to take care of them while they are too lazy to work or have no ambition nor pride. Greed is a common thing in human being, you give them 5 and they want 10 and if you give them 10 they would want 20 cause they think you could afford it so if you’re talking about giving than how much is enough? Rich people do work hard for their money and whatever they want to do with it is their rights. As a businiess owner myself and in my opinion, the union workers are the most laziest people, always want high pay but don’t willing to work hard. And there are many people rather live off the unemployment system than taking a job for less pay than what they used to make. And while my parents and I had to work so hard to put me through college, many of my friends didn’t have to work but were being able to drive nice cars, having all these nice cloths but their families are living of the welfare system. So as you can see ET, we the Republicans are sick of people who are taking advantage of others, who always want more things in life but don’t have the ambition to go after it or who’s having no pride of taking other people hard earned money to suport them & their families. The government design the system to help people in NEEDS, but when their needs are gone they still want to take advantage of it and that’s why we want to put a stop to that. So ET, if you think you’re liberal and open-minded then take a look at yourself, what have you done for others?… And be happy with that. Have respect for other people by not expecting anyone to be like this or that.

  26. ET says:

What you are describing are the people who have taken advantage of our social services and they are not representative of neither parties. If we are serious about discussing the differences between them, then we should stick to the philosophy of those who run them. Your self-description reveals that you are the exact type of citizens that the Democratic Party tries to protect: hard-working middle-class/ working class/ serious college students, etc Who do you think have always tried to cut back on education, public safety, public health care, public transportation so that they can sell more automobiles, oil and over-priced medications? Who do you think have contributed most money to the Republican party: college professors, teachers, doctors, or oil mongers, arm dealers, and Wall Street?

Who do you think the Republicans want to impose the most tax burden on, working and middle class families or the top 5 percents? Better not say the latter one.

I used to be deceived the Republican party too until I got out of the Viet political ghetto and realized it was the Democrats who represented me. I realize you are a business owner and of course, your political view is influenced by your desire to generate wealth, but please realize our society must exist as a whole and we need to be inclusive and tolerant of different segments of society. Any abuse of the system should be handled swifly and seriously. However, don’t get caught up with smaller abuses and then forget about the more sophisticated kind committed by the well-masked iron hands in the Republican administrations: WHAT HAPPENED TO THE WAR AND THE LIES COMING FROM BUSH AND CHENEY? WHY ARENT THEY BEING BROUGHT TO JUSTICE FOR LYING ABOUT THE ROLE OF IRAQ IN SEPTEMBER 11 AND FOR BRINGING THE AMERICAN ECONOMY TO ITS KNEES AND WHO WILL BRING BACK THE LIVES OF THOUSANDS OF INNOCENT US SOLDIERS AND IRAQI BOMB VICTIMS?) . Welfare abuse must be handled seriously but we can’t use that as an excuse to vote for a party that disregards human rights, civil rights and democracy, especially when those were the exact reasons why most of us left Vietnam.

  28. Cheer Up Bo May says:

    Bo May,

You sounded really depressed after the Primary. So sad, why?

Why don’t you take a bottle of rat poison to cheer up. If rat poison doesn’t work, there’s always cyanide. They come in convenient and easy to chew capsules. Freshens up your bad breath too. Ha ha ha!!

  29. Jung Kim says:

Bo May just lost a baby/ in deep depression….thanks to baby killer Loretta!

Bo May can bite Loretta’s nipple off…. instead of sucking on her milk. Loretta is a BAD news!

    Loretta = Baby killer

    Loretta = Anti Viet racist.

Bo May = A reject suffering from battered spouse syndrome.

  30. Bo May says:

I thought Christianity against suicide, no?

Them ‘kimmies’ don’t know who they are, which country they belong to and now we just found out they don’t even know what god/religion they belong to.

People like ‘kimmies’ give Republicans and Chrsitianity baaaaad names. Oh Lordy, Lordy.
It’s so pathetic, so sad for viets and for humanity.(sigh)

  31. Cheer Up Bo May says:

    Bo May,

There’s always an exception to the rule, and you are te exception. Enjoy the cyanide capsules. They are good breath mints for you Bo May. Don’t feel so sad. The Viets are happy. Ha ha ha!!

  32. Jung Kim says:

Bo May, massage before you suck…. her nipple has been plugged up with some residues.

You can cry all you want …but we Viets are getting rid of joe BAD mama Loretta!

    Down with Loretta!

    Loretta = Anti Viet racist!

  33. Bo May says:

What about violent thoughts about bite somebody nipple off? How about insurance fraud? Drunk driving? Greed, Corruption and Vile, I guess, the ‘kimmies’ can’t see that far and they just love to cast the ‘exception’ to the rule whenever they see it fit. (sigh)

People like ‘kimmies’ give Republicans and Chrsitianity baaaaad names. Oh Lordy, Lordy.
It’s so pathetic, so sad for viets and for humanity.(sigh)

  35. Just Asking ! says:

kImmy must have been busy massaging pussy’s nipple and thinking about Bo May at the same time !!!

  36. Phuc Bich Dung says:

This guy made kind of a dumb comment, he said the Asian culture? Which one? He lumped them all together. He is talking about the Japanese Samurai.

  37. Cash Cao says:

this guy Cao sounds like a typical retarded ignorant uneducated republican. Nothing wrong with this video, he just sounds like his hero George W Bush.

  38. Tuan says:

du ma may thang dang cong hoa ngu nhu khi.

  39. Bo May says:

    @ Phuc Bich Dung; Exactly my thought, as i said it before;

‘….Cao is a Vietnamese, though, Japanese culture is very unique and stands apart from the rest of the Asian culture. It may be OK for a Japanese to cite that harakiri self emulating style but not for a Vietnamese and the rest of the Asian nationals to say so….’

Then I got the overly sensitive van tran ass kissers (Kimmy, Da Thug), jumping all over the places like monkeys, accusing me of viet hater. They must have thought van tran is a viet politician so anyone who criticize viet politician would be criticizing van tran, too. LOL

  40. Bo May says:

USA won and advances to second second round of the world cup….OOPS, the little mind saigonese vantran fanatics do not care anyway.
    Sorry ‘kimmies’, my bad.

  41. cash cao says:

hi I am Joseph Cao and I am mad at peeple who say bad thing about me in this web sight. I no how to speek englit and I speek it well and sometime I sound stupid and retard but hey, I am republican. Cong hoa muon nam! da dao cong san! dit me vit lon heo quay ngo dinh diem con cac. Hello peeple support me and tran thai van please we need your supports and moneys.

  42. Bo May says:

    correction:
You got to be a proud American to earn the bragging right.
Little Saigonese like you needs no apply. LOL

  43. Bo May says:

Yes, injury time is not ‘additional time at second half’, though.
Proof again, you little siagoneses are so far removed from reality.
Could someone please help me to educate kimmies about soccer and Asian culture, pleazzzzzse.

Anyway, are you proud of USA today? (maybe not)

  44. Bo May says:

Did the team make you proud of being an American? (maybe not)

  45. Bo May says:

    Loose? as in loose knot?
Are you proud of being an American or proud of being a little saigonese?

  46. Duy T. Le says:

Bo May. I am very proud of Assemblyman Van Tran and the things he did for my community. You have done nothing other than to whine and criticize.

Assemblyman Tran will be the next Congressman. There is little you can do about this except whining. You know it deep down and you need to accept it.

I voted for Tran in the Primary. He won big. I will vote for him again in November. I will ask my neighbors to support Tran as well. It should not be hard. He has strong
support in my neighborhood. I saw a lot of Tran’s yard signs on my street.

  47. Bo May says:

    @ Duy Le;
Please tell me what did he do for the community.

  48. Duy T. Le says:

Bo May. Go to Assemblyman Van Tran’s Vietnamese Language web site and educate yourself on Tran’s activities and accomplishments in the Vietnamese community. Nobody in this community comes close. The site is http://www.joinvantran.org.

    You can’t argue with facts.

  49. Bo May says:

Now, I know where you are coming from.

If you really want to make a sale pitch ( and it was a very cheap trick) for van tran you must do better job than that.
I am sure nobody come close to what he did to the community in term of corruption and fraud, either. His dirty activities speak volume on public for all to see. You should also educate yourself by reading everything this web site posted about him.

Tell me what has he done to the community that this country has not already done.
More welfare money? More social assistants? If he is a republican shouldn’t he oppose to all of those freebies anyway? Do you think he may be conflicting himself with the Democratic party now?

Oh by the way, if you think ‘ a lot of van tran’s yard signs on the street’ means he is a good candidate, then you are not very intelligent and just as easily duped like the rest of the van tran fanatics (may be you are already one).

  50. Duy T. Le says:

Bo May. I don’t really need to pitch for Assemblyman Tran. I His long record is out there for all to see. You are too opinionated, but very light on the facts. You are hell bent on smearing him, but with what? You have nothing to back you up.

Fact is Assemblyman Van Tran is the most prominent Vietnamese elected official California. That’s why he never lost an election. You can’t deny that or change that fact either. Deep down you know it’s true. Even if you don’t know, Tran has plenty of people who have supported him and voted him in every time.
