5 OC Viets arrested in prostitution bust

A prostitution den masquerading as a day spa was busted by Buena Park police last week, when they arrested five people – 1 male, 4 females.

An undercover investigation was initiated after residents complained about suspicious activities.

“Undercover officers witnessed prostitution being sold,” the Register quotes BPPD Sgt. William Kohanek as saying.

The sex operation was not too discrete. A quick search of the address on Google reveals several references to thinly veiled prostitution solicitation.

Several entries on the “barebackescorts” website advertise “shaved Asian girls, best service” and is tagged (yes, the site is built on a WordPress platform) with “Anal Escort,” “Shaved Girls,” “Swinger,” etc.

Another series of entries on “findadultservices” advertises a “touch of 21 yo handsome Asian boy” – apparently named Dan – at $40 massage, “m4m.”

The business has been closed and red tagged by the Buena Park Code Enforcement Office.

Arrested in the bust was the place’s owner, Timothy Tuney Pham, 39, on suspicion of operating outside the scope of a legitimate business.

Also arrested were four female employees on suspicion of prostitution: Tuyen Thuy Nguyen, 24; Nghi Nguyen, 37; Hanh Thi My Nguyen, 51; and one whose face screams Vietnamese (picture left) but whose official, legal name is, get this, Cindy Crawford, 37.

All charges are misdemeanors, and the five people were cited and released.

The police, however, is considering asking the DA’s office to up Pham’s charges to pandering, a felony.

It is unclear if Pham is the same man as “Dan.”
